Limiting users of this machine (Windows
domain or workgroup authentication)
This machine can be configured with NTLM authentication in order to restrict
its use.
These settings must be specified if you wish to perform NTLM authentication
when using Windows NT 4.0 or when using Active Directory (NT-compatible
domain environment) on a Windows Server. The operations available to each
user can be restricted.
In addition, you can restrict use of this machine through NTLM authentication
in an IPv6 environment configured with Active Directory (NT-compatible
domain environment) on Windows Server 2008.
In order to perform NTLM authentication in an IPv6 environment, the Direct
Hosting service must be enabled. In order to resolve names using a DNS
server, register the DNS server and specify the DNS settings on this
machine.
