PAPER AND SPECIAL MEDIA SPECIFICATIONS FOR
COPYING
This section describes the types of media you can load
in your unit and gives other details regarding media.
Refer also to this section for instructions on adjusting
the paper cassette when you want to load a different
size paper.
MEDIA REQUIREMENTS FOR COPYING
The media you can load in the paper cassette and the
stack bypass differ. Follow the requirements below when
selecting media.
MEDIA REQUIREMENTS FOR THE PAPER CASSETTE
You can load the following paper in the paper cassette.
Plain paper:
A5 (148x210 mm)
A4 (210x297 mm)
A3 (297x420 mm)

MEDIA REQUIREMENTS FOR THE STACK BYPASS
You can load the following media in the stack bypass.

NOTE:

To use paper that is thicker or thinner than standard
plain paper, be sure to use the stack bypass. You can
set the paper type.
■
We recommend using Olivetti original supplies for
optimum printing.
■
Do not insert postcards, labels, or transparencies in
the paper cassette.
■
Be sure to insert one label sheet at a time in the stack
bypass.
■
When making two-sided copies, you can load a
maximum of 20 sheets.
PRINTED AREA OF A SHEET OF PAPER
The unit cannot print completely from the edge of one
border to another. The size of the margin differs slightly
with the paper size.

ADJUSTING THE PAPER CASSETTE FOR A DIFFERENT
PAPER SIZE
You can adjust the paper cassette to hold a different
size paper if needed. Follow the procedure below:
1. Press the end guide towards the paper as shown
and place it in the appropriate slot for the new paper.

2. Turn the positioning lever to the middle and slide
the side guide to align it with the desired paper size.

to the paper size you have selected.
