Disengaging the motor head
During assembly, it might be necessary to disengage and re-engage the operator
at the motor head.
This can be done without the need to disconnect the lever arm.
1.
Pull the ball handle to be able to move the garage door by hand (see fig. A).
The operator is now permanently disengaged (the value “8” appears on the
display if the operator is switched on and a path has been taught).
The motor head can be re-engaged at any point.
2.
Push the lever on the motor head down to re-engage the operator (see fig. B).

Installation on the left-hand door side
11a
If favoured by the structural conditions on site, the operator can also be installed on the left-
hand side.
11b
Loosen the bolt on the motor head with a wrench (SW 10 17 mm).
11c
Screw it back in on the other side. Then proceed as described for right-hand installation.
Low-mounted control unit
12a
If the control unit cannot be positioned directly underneath the rail,
12b
the coiled cable can be routed to the motor head using the supplied second cable clamp and
the punched tape.
12c
The extendible part of the coiled cable may be stretched by a maximum of factor 3, and the
permanently installed part by a maximum of factor 7. If the coiled cable is not sufficiently long,
use the extension set (accessory).
NOTICE
The ball handle must be located at least 1.80 m above the floor.
