Troubleshooting
Management Interface Error Messages
The following table contains the error messages associated with the Management Interface
(CLI and Web). All messages are listed alphabetically.
Error Message
Cause
AAA must be enabled before adding a
subscriber to the profile database.
You are attempting to add a subscriber profile
while AAA is disabled.
Command not available “xx”
The system does not recognize your
command (“xx” denotes your input).
Current settings were not archived.
This message is displayed if you answer “no”
when prompted to overwrite the configuration
archive file with new settings.
Current settings were not changed.
This is either a response to your decision not
to change settings, or the message is
generated by the system when it fails to locate
the data it needs.
Error loading factory settings.
The system cannot find the default
configuration file when attempting to restore
the factory settings.
Error occurred, ARP entry not added.
The IP or MAC address is invalid. Ensure that
you input the correct format for these fields.
NFS client support not included.
This message is displayed when the system
reboots and NFS clients are not supported.
No matching MAC address found in profile
database.
The system could not match the MAC address
you defined while attempting to remove a
subscriber profile.
[not defined]
This is the factory default for some system
parameters.
The system must be reset to function properly.
The system must be rebooted to function
properly!
You have made changes to the system’s
configuration that requires you to reboot
before your changes become effective.
