8.14.3.4 Adding a third module

• Replace the HSL1 board of the PowerCPU EE/PowerCPU EE C25 board with an HSL2 board.
• Reuse this HSL1 board by placing it on the PowerMEX board of the third module.

In an installation using two modules, the PowerCPU EE/PowerCPU EE C25 (base module) and

PowerMEX (module expansion) boards are fitted with an HSL1 board.

8.14.4 Installation Upgrade

This section outlines the major considerations to be taken into account in the following migrations:

• OXO Connect R2.x or lower to OXO Connect R3.x with PowerCPU EE
• OXO Connect R2.2 to OXO Connect R3.x with PowerCPU EE C25

Migration  from  OXO  Connect  R2.2  to  OXO  Connect  R2.2  or  higher  with  PowerCPU  EE  C25  is  not
supported.

Migration  must  be  performed  on  site,  except  when  there  is  no  hardware  change  and  the  PowerCPU
EE/PowerCPU EE C25 remains the system's CPU.

8.14.4.1 On Site Migration

On site migration applies when the CPU is changed (PowerCPU replaced by a PowerCPU EE).
