CONNECTION AND SETTINGS : Parameter Settings

10) Layout Preset: -5.0 to 5.0mm
Factory setting: 2.0 mm
Sets the default optical center height. Set any value from -5.0 to 5.0 mm (in increments of
0.1 mm).
11) Alignment Scale: 0.0, 1.0, 2.0, 3.0
Factory setting: 2.0
Selects the spacing between horizontal lines of the alignment scale, displayed on the layout
screen when the lens type is other than Multi, from 0, 1.0 mm, 2.0 mm, and 3.0 mm.
When 0 mm is selected, the horizontal lines are not displayed.
12) Alignment Mark V Size: 0.0, 1.0, 2.0
Factory setting: 1.0
Selects the height of the alignment mark (horizontally long ellipse), displayed on the layout
screen when the lens type is other than Multi, from 0 mm, 1.0 mm, and 2.0 mm.
When 0 mm is selected, the horizontally long ellipse becomes a straight line.
13) Polish/S.B Setting: LE, SE/ME
Factory setting: LE
Sets that the lens edge is polished and/or safety-beveled with the lens edger. Selects LE or
SE/ME according to the lens edger to be used.
The selectable options for polishing and safety beveling differ depending on this parameter
setting:
14) Input Interface (JOB/PTN Code): TENKEY, KEYPAD
Factory setting: TENKEY
Selects the keyboard or numeric keypad to enter JOB or PTN number.
When data for manufacturer names or JOB/PTN number including alphabet characters,
select KEYPAD.
15) Display auto off time (min.): 0 to 60
Factory setting: 0
Sets the time to turn the backlight off when the touch screen is idle for a certain period of
time. The setting range is 0 to 60 minutes in increment of 1. The setting of 0 makes this auto-
matic shutoff function unavailable.
Pressing anywhere on the touch screen turns the backlight on.
