Factory setting: 38400
Sets the communication speed (baud rate) for data communication using the EDGER 1 and
EDGER 2 ports.
3) Cup Mode: STD, Pliable, Mini
Factory setting: STD
Sets the lens cup to be used.
Selecting STD makes the following two functions available:
• The cup mark can be changed in size by setting the Full eye minimum size, Grind Mini-
mum Size (H) and Grind Minimum Size (V) parameters.
• The cup mark is automatically switched between the standard and for half-eye lens
depending on the lens layout data.
When Pliable or Mini is selected, the cup mark does not change in size. In addition, the
above three parameter settings do not take effect.
4) Full Eye Minimum Size: 25.0 to 35.0 mm
Factory setting: 30.0 mm
Sets the minimum diameter of the lens (when the standard cup is used) that can be pro-
cessed by a lens edger. Set any value from 25.0 to 35.0mm (in increments of 0.1 mm)
according to the lens edger.
5) Grind Minimum Size (H): 15.0 to 30.0 mm
Factory setting: 22.0 mm
Sets the minimum horizontal length of the half-eye lens that can be processed by a lens
edger. Set any value from 15.0 to 30.0 mm (in increments of 0.1 mm) according to the lens
edger.
6) Grind Minimum Size (V): 15.0 to 30.0 mm
Factory setting: 20.0 mm
Sets the minimum vertical length of the half-eye lens that can be processed by a lens edger.
Set any value from 15.0 to 30.0 mm (in increments of 0.1 mm) according to the lens edger.
7) Groove Depth: 0 to 0.8 mm
Factory setting: 0.3
Sets the default groove depth when the grooving specifications are set.
Set any value from 0 to 0.8 mm (in increments of 0.1 mm).
8) Groove Width: 0.6 to 1.2 mm
Factory setting: 0.6
Sets the default groove width when the grooving specifications are set.
Set any value from 0.6 to 1.2 mm (in increments of 0.1 mm).
9) Language: JAPANESE, ENGLISH, FRENCH, GERMAN
Factory setting: ENGLISH
Selects the language displayed. Select from Japanese, English, French, or German.
