2.2 Operating Procedures
2.2.1 Blocker/LE and Mini LAB systems
Before blocking, trace the lens or load the trace data, and set the processing conditions and enter lens
layout data.

Display the lens shape on the layout screen.
z Tracing in the Blocker/LE system:
1) Trace the lens frames with the lens edger connected to the ICE mini.
2) The data is transferred to the ICE mini automatically after tracing. The data is displayed
on the layout screen.
z Tracing in the Mini LAB system:
1) Enter the JOB#.
Pressing the JOB# button displays the numeric
keypad (or keyboard). Enter the JOB# and
press the Ent button.
2) Trace the frames with the LT-900.
3) Press the Tracer button to load the shape
data after confirm that tracing is com-
pleted.
z Loading stored PTN data (JOB data) in the Blocker/LE or Mini LAB system
1) Enter the PTN# (or JOB#) of the PTN (or
JOB) data to be loaded.
2) Press Load button to load the PTN data
(or JOB data).
The [<<] or [>>] button next to the Load button
passes the PTN# (or JOB#) of the data to be
loaded in order.

Set the processing conditions.
See “2.3.1 Setting processing conditions” (Page 32) for the processing condition setting pro-
cedure.
