Place the lens on the lens support with the
convex side up.

Hold the lens with the lens clamp.
1) Rotate the lens clamp while lifting it over
the lens.
2) Slightly raise the lens clamp and lower it
slowly while holding it by hand.

Position the lens.
Align the middle marking on the lens with the
center of the alignment scale.
Note that the markings are parallel to the hor-
izontal scale.
