second person waits too long, or if the door is allowed to close, then the card stack
will be zeroed out. This function must e selected if multiple entries are desired OR
there is not an actual door, such as in a hallway/corridor application where door
status cannot be monitored.
Playback
The Playback section lists the four types of alarms that will cause the T-DAR system
to generate an event video replay. Next to each of these titles is a text box where
the user can enter specific text that is displayed in the event playback video image.
Additionally, there is a check-box that is used to enable text overlay of the user
specified text as opposed to the default text as set by the manufacturer.
Video Replay
The Video Replay section allows the user to determine the length of the event video
replay image clip that is displayed by the system. The Start time defines how long
before
the actual alarm is received that replay starts from, and the END time
determines how long
afte
r the alarm was received the video is recorded.
Portal Name
The Portal Name box allows the user to define a specific logical name to a door,
such as Door 569, North Entrance. This name will be displayed in the event video
playback loop. Once a name has been entered here, all of the Portal Control pull-
downs will reflect the change in the name.
Time
The Time section allows the user to select the time that is maintained in the
controller. This time stamp is also displayed in all event video images. Clicking the
Set Time button will set the time on the controller to be the same as the PC used to
run the UI. It should be noted that daylight savings time corrections must be
performed manually.
Reset Event Statistics
The Reset Event Statistics is used to reset the statistics located on the Monitor page.
Change Admin Password
The admin password is the second highest level of access available to users. This
allows access to the Monitor, Setup I/O, and Setup View tabs of the system. To
configure the password, the button is clicked and then a password is typed either on
the on-screen keyboard or on the host computer keyboard. If a mistake is made,
use the backspace key to remove characters one by one, or the clear key to clear all
of the characters simultaneously. Once the password is entered, press the OK
button to make password permanent.
