ACK/NAK Options
This enables/disables the ability of the scanner to support the RS-232 ACK/NAK protocol. When enabled,
the scanner and/or the host sends an ACK (Default: <ACK>) when it receives data properly, and sends
an NAK (Default: <NAK>) when the data is in error. This setting is valid only when the scanner uses
RS-232 or USB COM or USB HID-POS communication.
4 opitons are provided:
Disable
Enable for Barcode Transmission:
The scanner expects an ACK or NAK response from the host when
a barcode is sent.
Enable for Host-command Acknowledgment:
The scanner will respond with an ACK when the host
sends the Enable Character (Default: “E”, user-programmable) or Disable Character (Default: “D”,
user-programmable) and an NAK when it sends other character.
Enable for Barcode Transmission & Host-command Acknowledgment
Note: Do not enable this feature unless required.
