Setting up 'Remote account management '

In mode 'Remote account management', you manage accounts and operators from

the PC application.
The PC application provides advanced postal and/or shipping expense management

in order to monitor, track and control your mailing and shipping costs.
You can allow the mailing system to be used even when not connected to the PC. In

the 'disconnected mode', only one account and operator are available (defined in the

PC application). This type of application should be setup by an authorized technician.

Implementing “Remote account management”

To implement mode 'Remote account Management':
1 Connect the PC to the mailing system and start the account management appli-

cation on the PC : see the diagram in

Connectors

p.16 and the PC application

user guide.

2 In the mailing system, activate the mode 'Remote account management' : see

How to Display and Change the 'Account Mode'

p.80 .

3 From the PC application, configure required accounts and operators : see the PC

application user guide.

'Remote account management' Management Menu

There are no parameters to set in this mode.

If operators or accounts were already created on the mailing sys-
tem then they are deleted when switching to mode 'Remote
account management'.
