Using the System Drives and Bays

Using the CD-ROM Drive with your NEC Versa Notebook

Follow these steps to connect to and use the external CD-ROM drive with your NEC
Versa notebook computer.

Power off your NEC Versa notebook.

Locate the external CD-ROM drive and cable that ship with your system.

Attach the USB connector to either USB port on the system. When connected, the
CD-ROM drive is assigned an available drive letter.

Connecting the CD-ROM drive
