Checking System Memory
If you do not know how much memory is installed in the system, check the
amount as follows.
1.
On the Windows 95, Windows 98, or Windows NT 4.0 desktop, point to
My
Computer
and click the right mouse button.
2.
With the left mouse button, click
Properties
. The
General
tab shows the
random access memory (RAM). This is the amount of system memory in the
computer.
In Windows 95 and Windows 98, find the amount of memory by pointing to
My Computer
, clicking the right mouse button, and selecting
Performance
.
Note:
If a discrepancy is found in the amount of
memory displayed at the Power-On Self-Test or in Windows
with the amount of memory installed, check that the
memory modules were installed correctly.

(64-MB and 128-MB as available)
512-KB write-back secondary cache memory on Pentium II processor
128 -KB secondary cache memory on Celeron processor
System Setup utility built into the BIOS
