If you are adding another processor to your system, then you must remove
the terminator board from the socket where you are adding the processor and
store the terminator board appropriately.

To remove a terminator board, perform step 7. Otherwise, go to step 6.

If you are replacing a processor, leave the terminator board intact and
remove the processor.
7.
Raise the lever on the socket to its up position and remove the terminator or
processor. See Figure 4-13.
