Implen Document Source File
Implen has a custom file format referred to as an Implen Document Source (IDS) file. This is a
hardcopy file to which no changes can be made. This file type contains all information including
raw data, results, values, and parameters. IDS files can only be opened with the Implen
software.
Excel File
Measurement data can be saved as an Excel file. This file format is compatible with Microsoft
Excel software versions 2007/2010/2013 and can be edited. This file type contains all
information including raw data, results, and parameters. The saved file contains only the
selected information at the time the file was saved.
PDF File
Measurement data can be saved as a PDF file. The saved file contains only the selected
information at the time the file was saved. It is possible to configure the table columns in
preferences.
File Name
Enter the name for the file. Allowed characters are: A…Z a…z 0…9 , . - ( ) @ ! = _ ~ ; [ ] { } ‘
Note:
Blank character is not allowed.
Storage
Selection option to choose where you would like the data to be saved. The options include:
NanoPhotometer

, USB flash drive (if connected) and Control Device. If Control Device is
selected the data will be transferred to the device that is currently connected with the
NanoPhotometer
®
.
Note
: It is not possible to save IDS files to a computer (PC/Mac), tablets or smartphones.
Auto Save
To prevent data loss, all measurements are automatically stored as IDS file on the internal
memory of the NanoPhotometer
®
right after each reading. These backup copies can be found in
the Auto Save folder of the NanoPhotometer
®
(Stored Results/NanoPhotometer
®
/Autosave) for
up to eight days. Files contain the base name Backup, the method name, and a time/date
stamp.
Delete
Selecting the delete icon ( ) opens a full screen overlay dialog window to delete data. All data
which are selected (tick) in the first table column will be deleted. The header tick box
selects/deselects all samples.
Initiate the deletion with the delete button. Confirm the deletion in the following warning
