Network setting items list
The following network settings can be setup by using the machine’s control panel or
web browser.
• TCP/IP
This sets the TCP/IP network environment.
• SMTP/POP
This sets the e-mail server settings.
• E-mail Settings
This sets the e-mail /Internet fax settings.
• LDAP Settings
This sets the LDAP server settings.
• Folder Shortcuts
This sets the shortcut of the shared Windows holder.
• FTP Shortcuts
This sets the shortcut of the FTP server.
• Archive Settings
This creates rules for archiving “fax”, “Internet fax”, and “scan to e-mail” commu-
nications.
• Network Settings Code
This sets the protection passcode for the network settings.
• Ping command
Ping the IP address and verify that it responds.
• Show MAC Address
Shows the MAC (Media Access Control) address of your machine’s network board.
