Troubleshooting
Error Messages
When an error occurs your machine will issue an error message. These error messages are
described below.
If the solution below does not solve the problem, please contact your Muratec representative.
Message
Causes and suggested solutions
An LDAP server has not been
registered. Check the LDAP
server settings.
The LDAP server setting may be incorrect.
Check the LDAP server settings. (See 3-17 or 5-29.)
If you are unsure of the current LDAP settings, contact your
system administrator.
An LDAP server has not been
selected. Check the LDAP
server settings.
LDAP reference execution error
The LDAP server cannot be
found. Check the LDAP server
settings.
Contact service for printer
option
An internal error has occurred. Contact your authorized
muratec dealer.
DHCP server did not respond.
DHCP configuration failed. Check the network connection.
If the LAN cable is not connected, connect it to the machine.
(See page 1-2.)
If the DHCP server is not installed on your network, turn off
the “DHCP setting” and register the IP address manually.
(Refer to the “TCP/IP setting” on page 2-2 or 5-21.)
No Network Connection
The machine is not connected to the LAN.
Check whether the LAN cable is firmly connected.
The LINK lamp of the LAN connector illuminates when
connected to the LAN (see page 1-2). The LAN cable may be
defective.
The NetBIOS name entered is
already in use.
The NetBIOS name you entered is already being used on the
network. Enter another NetBIOS name for your machine.
(Consult your network administrator.)
