[Impact]: Make the pendulum complete the impact process. Tap the Impact icon,
and the the pendulum hanging/release device moves so that the pendulum rotates
around the shaft under its weight to impact the specimen. When the impact is
complete, the pendulum is rotated counter-clockwise. When its angle approaches
zero, the brake device stops the pendulum, and the motor drives the pendulum to
rotate counter-clockwise until the induction switch is triggered and then releases
the pendulum. The pendulum is placed on the hanging rod under the influence of
its weight. The impact action is completed. It is equivalent to the
Impact button
on the control panel and sliding door.
[Do not Use Pointer]: It refers to the test method that does not use pointer for
readings during the impact test. In such a test method, the equipment only
calculates air and bearing energy losses into absorption energy, excluding
frictional energy losses of pointers. Tap the
Do Not Use Pointer icon to switch to
Use Pointer test method. Under the Use Pointer test method, the system
incorporates air and bearing energy losses and pointer friction energy losses into
the calculation of absorption energy, as shown in the following figure:
