MTS Exceed™ 22 Series Product Information 56 Maintenance
There are no customer-usable components on MTS Exceed system. Maintenance
includes cleaning of main unit and working areas, routine inspections, and main
unit regular calibration.
Be careful not to spill cleaning agents on the equipment.
The equipment may be short-circuited and damaged if you
accidentally spill cleaning agents or fluids on electronic
components. Therefore, do not spill cleaning agents on the
equipment or use liquids to clean the equipment.
Before cleaning or checking any components, first unplug power cords.
Follow recommendations and warnings of the manufacturer during
use of cleaning agents.
Incorrect use of cleaning agents may cause personal injuries
To avoid potential hazards, please follow manufacturer's recommendations and warnings
all the time.
General Cleaning
Clean the equipment based on needs. Use damp lint free cloth to clean the shield,
base, bearings, etc. Where necessary, mild detergents or agents can be used.
Monthly
Maintenance
Check whether the brake function runs normally.
Annual
Maintenance
Check hanging rod angle, pendulum weight and swing cycle, and pendulum
energy loss. This process requires standards and devices that are not normally
used in routine maintenance. Contact local MTS service engineers for assistance.
Other Services
Main components need to be checked and maintained regularly, to extend their
service life and enable them to work in optimal conditions. These services are
usually performed by local MTS service engineers. For more information, please
