Power-on
Press the power switch at the lower right of the tester to power on the system.
After about 15 seconds, the touch screen should be on.

Note: After the equipment is turned off or in the case of unexpected power
outage, wait for 10s to turn on the power again. Otherwise, it may cause system
errors and the equipment may not function normally.
Clearing Angle
Clear the initial angle when the pendulum is in free hanging state to zero. After
the angle is cleared to zero, check whether parameter settings are consistent with
test conditions.
Pendulum fetch
Rotate the pendulum to the pre-elevation angle and hang it with a book so that
the pendulum can absorb initial energy.
Placing Specimen
Use clamp-style specimen centering device to place the specimen to the test
position on the bearing.

Note: It is not allowed to use any body parts to place the specimen on the
bearing.
Impact
Press the Impact button on the control panel (or the Impact icon on the touch
screen or the Impact button at the sliding door). The pendulum is released from
the hook and falls clockwise to hit the specimen. The value of absorption energy
is the current impact energy. After the pendulum hits the specimen, the system
rotates the pendulum to hanging state. Then, the impact action completes. For the
follow-up test, you only need to place the specimen on the bearing and then press
Impact.

Note: If the Use Pointer test method is selected, turn the pointer to the
maximum energy position on the dial.
