1.3 Parameter
Setting Page
On the main page, tap
Parameter Settings
to enter the parameter setting page (or
by tapping the left and right arrow icons on other pages). As shown In the figure
below:
You can set impact specimen specifications, pendulum energy, estimated
absorption energy, second pendulum fetching pulse, gravity acceleration, time,
and other parameters. Tap the blank field on the page to enter required parameter
values. Tap the
Metric
icon on the right of the page to switch to imperial units.
Metric units are used by default. As shown In the figure below:
[Estimated Absorption Energy]: This parameter is also used by the specimen
recovery device as the basis to judge the specimen recovery direction. If the
specimen's absorption energy is greater than the expected value, the specimen
recovery device will transport the specimen to the left side of the equipment;
otherwise, the specimen recovery device will transport the specimen to the right
side of the equipment.
[Second Pendulum Fetch Pulse]: This parameter refers to the delay in the brake
action of second time pendulum fetching during the performance of impact
actions. This parameter has been set before the equipment is shipped out of
factory and cannot be changed arbitrarily.
[Gravity Acceleration]: As the gravity acceleration varies from place to place,
this parameter should be set based on actual local value. Otherwise, it may affect
test results.
