12.7. Message Logging
A trap issues an SNMP trap to one or more remote SNMP managers, which allows a network administrator
to receive immediate error notification from SNMP management software like MegaVision™. To specify
an SNMP trap manager address, use the "
snmp-server host
" command. To change the default setting
for trap message level, use the "
log level trap
" command.
fiberdriver(config)# snmp-server host 169.254.1.100
