Strap wrench Unscrew the cartridge Collect the oil contained

6.6 Filter clogging
Clogging of the fi lter cartridge is easily detected by the pressure gauge mounted on the fi lter head (Fig. 4).
When the pressure reaches 2.5 bar, replace the fi lter element and at the same time clean the "Y" shaped fi lter in the suction line.
The spin-on fi lter is equipped with a bypass valve with a response pressure set at 3 bar.
6.6.1 Filter cartridge replacement
Before replacing the fi lter cartridge, make sure that the oil temperature is below + 40/45° C.
Replace the fi lter cartridge whenever necessary, i.e. whenever the gauge indicates a clogged fi lter (2.5 bar) or when other fl uids
must be fi ltered. To unscrew the cartridge use the included "strap wrench" (Fig. 5).
It is recommended to thoroughly clean the fi lter head before beginning operations to replace the fi lter cartridge.
6.6.2 Air vent - not applicable for UFM015

It is recommended to never exceed the response pressure of the bypass valve (3 bar).

Collect the replaced oil and fi lter element in a container and dispose of it in accordance
with the regulations in force.

Any intervention must be carried out with the machine off. Always remember to unplug the power supply.
