6 Installation procedures and general operation

6.1 Introduction

The mobile fi ltration units are suitable for the following fl uid operations:

- Transfer with fi ltration
- Off-line fi ltration (maximum recommended volume 250L)

In standard execution the fi ltration unit is supplied without fi lter cartridge, before its use install an original MP Filtri fi lter cartridge 
suitable for the type of unit you are using (see fi lter cartridge codes listed in Table 6.7.2 Item. 7) and perform the procedures 
described in Section 6.2 "Filter cartridge Installation".

6.2 Filter Cartridge Installation

Lubricate the cartridge seal with 
the fl uid being used

Position the cartridge

Screw in the fi lter cartridge until 
the gasket comes into contact 
with the fi lter head and then ro-
tate half a turn

These operations must be performed with the machine off. Do not turn on the unit without fi rst installing the fi lter 
cartridge. Check that the cartridge is properly screwed in.
