1.4.3 Deleting Entries
Use any of the following keys (or key combinations) to delete command entries:
1.4.4 Re-displaying the Current Command Line
If you are entering a command and the system suddenly sends a message to your screen,
you can easily recall your current command entry. To redisplay the current command line
(refresh the screen), use the following key combination:

Output often extends beyond the visible screen length. For cases where output continues
beyond the screen, the output is paused and a
Press Any Key to Continue (Q to
Quit)
prompt displays at the bottom of the screen. To resume the output, press the Return
key to scroll down one line or press the Spacebar to display the next full screen of output.
1.4.6 Transposing Mistyped Characters
If you have mistyped a command entry, you can transpose the mistyped characters. To
transpose characters, use the following key combination:

Backspace
Deletes the character to the left of the cursor.
Ctrl-D
Deletes the character at the cursor.
Ctrl-K
Deletes all characters from the cursor to the end of the command line.
Ctrl-W
Deletes a word up to the cursor.
Esc, D
Deletes from the cursor to the end of the word.

Re-displays the current command line.

Transposes the character to the left of the cursor with the character
located at the cursor.
