Use this task to read a phone and automatically add it to the current

. Before following the instructions, prepare an iDEN
®
phone by
connecting it to the programming cable.
1.
From the phone center Units screen, click the Read Phone button on the
Application Tool Bar. The Read Phone Status screen appears.
2.
After the phone has been read, the following message is displayed:
“The phone has been read successfully. Would you like to append the phone
information to the current

?”
click Yes to complete the task.
