After making changes to the

files, you may save a copy of
the file to a hard disk or floppy disk before writing the data to your iDEN
®
phone.
To save a
I
DEN C
OMPANION
P
RO
file that is already open in CompanionPro:
1.
Click on the title bar of the
I
DEN C
OMPANION
P
RO
file
to make it active.
2.
Select
File/Save
. Choose Save As to save the file with a different name.
3.
If the file is being saved for the first time, the File Save dialog box will
appear. Specify the file name and directory location where the file should be
saved. Click
OK
to complete the task.
NOTE: CompanionPro identifies
I
DEN C
OMPANION
P
RO
files by their COP
file name extension. If you do not use this extension when saving a iDEN
CompanionPro file, CompanionPro automatically adds this extension to the
file name when it saves the file. files automatically are named
CompanionPro1, CompanionPro2, … CompanionPro n.
