Printing a Rhythm Strip
Begin printing a rhythm strip by selecting
. The Rhythm icon is replaced with a
Done
icon that will stop
the rhythm strip printing and return you to the real-time ECG display. The
function icon is also
available—its selection will also cause a return to the real-time ECG display.
Rhythm printout settings can be altered during the printout by a touchpad tap in the waveform. A menu allowing
rhythm format, rhythm speed, rhythm gain, and rhythm filter changes as shown below will display. Select
OK
to
save changes and exit the menu, or
Cancel
to exit without saving.
Stop
will stop rhythm printing.
NOTE:
When settings are changed in this menu, the ELI 380 will return to configured (default)
settings the next time this menu is displayed.
NOTE:
Printed rhythm strips are not stored in the ELI 380.
During a 6-lead or 3-lead rhythm print, selecting the
Leads
button in the top right corner of the screen will toggle
rhythm printing between limb and chest leads.
Acquiring a STAT ECG
To acquire an emergency (STAT) ECG for an unidentified patient prior to entering patient demographics:
1.
Select
from the display or the keyboard.
2.
Select
a second time from the display or the keyboard. The ECG will be acquired.
NOTE:
The message “Collecting 10 seconds of data” will appear in the top left area of the
display if the patient was just connected.
3.
Once completed, the acquired ECG with interpretation will display.
4.
To enter patient information after the ECG has been acquired and displayed, select
to open the
dialog and enter patient data. Select
Yes
to edit the current ECG patient information.

To return to the real-time ECG display without entering patient demographics, select
.
Additional ECG records prior to patient disconnection may be acquired and saved as needed.
NOTE:
The ECG record is saved and can be found in the directory by acquisition date and time.
