Configuration Menu: Alternate Placement
Alternate Lead Placement:
Selection offers three alternate lead placements for V1 through V6 that can be
assigned in this menu. ELI 380 is delivered with
Pediatric
,
Posterior
, and
Right Sided
lead sets as a default.
The user can reassign the Lead Placement Names with entry of up to 12 characters. Each set lists dropdown
selections for each precordial lead, V1 to V6. Available labels are V1, V2, V3, V4, V5, V6, V7, V8, V9, V3R,
V4R, V5R, V6R, and V7R. Labels will appear on both the display and on printouts. Refer to

NOTE:
Resting ECG interpretation is suppressed when non-standard lead placement is selected.

to save changes and exit the menu, or
Cancel
to exit without saving.
15 Leads Alt. Placement:
Selection offers two alternate lead placements for E2, E3, and E4 that can be assigned
in this menu. ELI 380 is delivered with
Pediatric
,
Posterior
, and
Right Sided
lead sets as a default.
The user can reassign the Lead Placement Names with entry of up to 12 characters. Each set lists dropdown
selections for the E2, E3, and E4 leads. Available labels are V1, V2, V3, V4, V5, V6, V7, V8, V9, V3R, V4R, V5R,
V6R, and V7R. Labels will appear on both the display and on printouts. Refer to

Configuration Menu: Local Area Network (LAN) Connection and Setup
All parameters related to network connection must be entered under the direction of a qualified IT professional of
the facility where the device is installed.
NOTE
: LAN functionality can be confirmed by the presence of the LAN icon in the Settings menu.
The ELI 380 must be configured for LAN transmission by the facility Information Technology (IT) professional:
1.
Connect the ethernet cable from the facility’s local area network to the LAN connection at the rear of the
ELI 380.
CAUTION:
Possible damage to the electrocardiograph may occur if a telephone cable is
connected to the LAN connector.

Select
from the real-time display, followed by
Advanced
and enter the password.
3.
Select
LAN.
4.
Addresses are always entered as 4 sets of 3 digits; therefore, an address of 192.168.0.7 must be entered on
the ELI 380 as 192.168.000.007.

LAN/WLAN settings may be password protected when printing the configuration. When the password
is entered, users will be able to view these settings on the screen; however, all printouts will print
“****” instead of the actual values.
