5. Turn the locking mechanism handle away from you to lock the holder in place at the

process deck end of the lane.

6. Verify that the holder is locked in place before continuing to run the process.

CAUTION! The static holder cannot slide when locked properly. If the holder does not
lock, the static holder can slide back so that the plate does not make proper contact with
the metal plate-sensor at the process deck end of the lane. Contact Technical Support
for adjustment help.

Setting up Deep Stacker Lane for Static Holder Usage

For deep-well lanes, the only difference from the Standard Lane Static Holder Usage process is
in step 3. For deep-well lanes, first place the plate-appropriate deep lane adapter on top of the
static holder and then place the plate in the adapter.
