Operation

117

The rotary sensor can be easily and quickly mounted using simple

tools. A securing pipe should be attached on a suitable position for

this purpose (for paver e.g. On the tow arm at the height of the

auger or on the chassis above the milling drum with a milling

cutter).

Procedure:

Loosen the clamping screws on the securing pipe.

Insert the round centring spigot on the top side of the sen sor

housing vertically in the securing pipe.

Rotate the sensor housing according to the moving direction

(connecting plug in moving direction).

Secure the centring pivot of the sensor with the clamping

screws.
