The operation mode specifies the source of the start command and the speed command for the drive unit.
Basically, there are following operation modes.
External operation mode: For inputting start command and speed command with an external potentiometer and switches
which are connected to the control circuit terminal.
PU operation mode: For inputting start command and speed command with the operation panel or parameter unit (FR-
PU07).
Network operation mode (NET operation mode): For inputting start command and speed command with RS-485
communication through PU connector.
The operation mode can be selected from the operation panel or with the communication instruction code.
REMARKS
Either "3" or "4" may be set to select the PU/External combined mode.

The stop function (PU stop selection) activated by pressing
of the operation panel and parameter unit (FR-PU07) is valid
even in other than the PU operation mode in the initial setting.
