Safety information
Warning
Cleaning agents can contain substances
that are dangerous and harmful to your
health. There is a risk of injury. When
cleaning the interior, open the doors or
windows. Only use products intended for
cleaning vehicles. Follow the instructions
on the packaging.
Vehicle paintwork
General information
Regular vehicle care contributes to driving
safety and value retention. Environmental
influences in areas with elevated air pollu-
tion or natural contaminants, such as tree
resin or pollen can affect the vehicle paint-
work. Tailor the frequency and extent of
your vehicle care to these influences.
Corrosive substances such as spilled fuel,
oil, grease or bird droppings, must be re-
moved immediately to prevent the finish
from being altered or discolored.
Matte paintwork
Only use cleaning and care products suita-
ble for vehicles with matte paintwork.
Care of convertible top
General information
The appearance and service life of the
convertible top depend on correct vehicle
care and operation.
Follow the following instructions:
– Clean headliner with a microfiber cloth.
Dampen the cloth lightly with water, if
needed.
– Do not soak the headliner.
– To avoid water stains, spots of mold, and
chafe marks, do not keep the convertible
top enclosed in the convertible top com-
partment for a long period of time. Do
not fold up the convertible top or stow it
in the convertible top compartment if it
is wet or frozen.
– Remove any water stains that have ap-
peared on the roofliner using a micro-
fiber cloth and an interior cleaner.
– When the vehicle is parked in enclosed
areas for lengthy stationary periods, en-
sure that the area is well ventilated.
– Park the vehicle in the shade to protect
it from intensive sunlight so that color,
rubber, and fabric are not affected.
– Remove bird droppings immediately as
their corrosive effect will otherwise at-
tack the convertible top and damage the
rubber seals.
– Hard to remove tree sap or bird drop-
pings can be removed from the
convertible top with special tree sap re-
mover and a soft brush.

NOTICE
Spot remover, paint thinner, solvents, gas-
oline or similar can damage the
convertible top or the rubber seals. There
is a risk of damage to property, among
other potential damage. To remove spots
on the convertible top, use only suitable
cleaning agents, for instance special
convertible top cleaning agent.
Cleaning the convertible top
To remove heavy contamination, especially
for light colored convertible tops, use a spe-
cial convertible top cleaning agent.
