Maintenance

5.1 Inspections and Maintenance

5.1.1 Inspections

Perform the following inspections each time before using the operating table, or at least once

a day.

Has the operating table been properly cleaned and/or disinfected?

Have the castors been properly locked?

Are there any cracks on the pad?

Have the pad been firmly fixed on the table top?

Are there any damaged mechanical parts?

Are there any damaged cables?

Are all table-top movements functional?

5.1.2 Maintenance

Complete electrical / safety inspections should be conducted every year by personnel

authorized by Nanjing Mindray.

It is recommended that the operating table be serviced by professionals every year.

It is recommended that the hydraulic oil be replaced by professionals every 5 years.



The operating table may be used only when properly lubricated and fully

functional. It is recommended that lubricate the operating table every year

by personnel authorized by Nanjing Mindray.



If the load on the operating table exceeds 230kg, half-yearly maintenance is

required.
