Using Xstreamjet Software
The Xtreamjet device driver provides fine-grained control over many aspects of the
printer’s performance. The most common settings are explained in the section
Setting
Up the Xstreamjet above. This section completes the explanation of the software’s
properties.
Starting the Software
The Xstreamjet device control application (driver) can be started in two ways:
Starting the Software From Discprint
To access the device driver application from Microtech’s Discprint utility, do the
following:
Run 1.
Discprint

From the 2. File menu, click Print .
Click the 3.

Preferences
button.
Set the device options as necessary. 4.

OK
to save the settings, or click
Print
to initiate printing.
Starting the Software From Windows
To access the device driver application from the operating system, do the following:
From the 1. Start menu, click Printers and Faxes .
Right-click the Xstreamjet printer. 2.
Click the 3. Properties or Preferences button.
Set the device options as necessary. 4.
Click 5. OK to save the settings, or click Print to initiate printing.
Using Properties on the Main Tab
The Main tab presents basic properties that control Xstreamjet printing. An advanced
view exposes additional properties.
