Setting Up the Xstreamjet
Installing and Configuring the
Xstreamjet Software
Note : this section applies only to Xstreamjet printers not originally purchased with
a disc publishing or duplication system from Microtech Systems. System originally
purchased from Microtech are configured at the factory.
After physically installing the Xstreamjet onto its host system, follow the steps below
to install the printer driver software and configure it for production use.
Turn the host system on. 1.
Insert the 2. Xstreamjet Installation software media into the host system’s CD/DVD
drive.
With the printer turned off, specify the type of host system on the installer’s 3.
System Type
window.
Allow the installation process to complete.
From the Windows 4. Start menu, click Printers and Faxes .
NOTE
: if the installation process does not au -
tomatically start, run Z:\XstreamjetInstall.exe ,
substituting Z with the drive letter of the CD/DVD
reader on the host system.
