Calibrating the Xstreamjet
Calibration refers to the process of physically aligning the printer to the host system
such that the target disc media is in the optimal position for printing. There are two
parts to the process: (
i
) calibrating the printer to receive a disc from the host system in
the optimal position, and (
ii
) calibrating the printer’s output image relative to the disc
media.
Note
: some of the steps of the calibration process may differ slightly depending on
which host system is being used. This section provides a general description of the
process. Refer to the documentation of the host system for more information.
Calibrating the Printer to the Host System
Start the

program via its desktop icon. Click
Calibrate
Position
, then click
Printer
.
The
Position Calibration
window opens.
Use the controls on the

Position Calibration
window to adjust the alignment of
the host system’s arm to the printer’s input tray. Click
OK
to close the window
when done.

Note: X100 systems cannot be calibrated through
this window. Adjust X100 systems manually.
