Setting Up the Xstreamjet
Loading Inkjet Cartridges
The Xstreamjet printer uses six non-renewable inkjet cartridges for printing. Follow
these steps to install them.
Unpack the inkjet cartridges shipped with the Xstreamjet. 1.
Open the printer cover and locate the cartridge bin at the front-right of the 2.
printer.
Insert each cartridge into the bin, taking care to match the cartridge’s ink color 3.
with the label at the rear of the cartridge bin.
Do not touch the integrated circuit on the back of cartridges.
Press down gently on each cartridge until it clicks into place. 4.
Close the printer cover. 5.
Installing the Xstreamjet onto a Host
System
The Xstreamjet brings professional-quality inkjet printing capabilities to all of the disc
publishing systems from Microtech Systems. This section discusses how to attach the
printer to each of those systems.
Identifying the Host System
Microtech Systems offers the following disc publishing/duplication systems as hosts
for the Xstreamjet:
