22.3 Activate parental control
22.3.1 Activating Parental Control using the function overview
• Press button to open the "Functional overview".
• Select "Parental control" with the cursor and press the button.
• Select "Code" with the cursor, press the button, and enter your 4-digit personal code
with the numeric keys. Make a note of the code number!
• Save the setting with the button.
22.3.2 Activating Parental Control using the function button
Programme the button on the remote control using the "Parental control" function; see
Chap. 20.
• Press the button .
An overview opens on the screen.
• Use the cursor to select the memory slot that is assigned to the function "Parental control".
• The Parental Control window will appear on the screen.
• Press the button and active the code entry.
• Enter your personal, four-digit code using the number keys.
The previously configured basic setting is activated.
22.3.3 Switching off Parental Control
If Parental Control is active, then the code must be entered in the menu every time the TV set
is switched on or operated.
To switch off the Parental Control:
• Press button to open the "Functional overview".
• Select "Menu" with the cursor and press the button.
• Enter a 4-digit personal code using the number keys.
• Select "Parental control" with the cursor and press the button.
• Use the cursor to select "on" or "off" and press the button.
• Press the button to exit the menu.
