Performance enhancement system
Airbrake
The Airbrake enhances the vehicle's driv-
ing stability. It adapts the aerodynamics of
the vehicle to the driving conditions ac-
cording to the speed and the mode set.
This is achieved using a moveable spoiler.
The Airbrake is located at the rear edge of
the boot lid.

Risk of injury

Make sure that nobody can be trapped dur-
ing Airbrake operation.
Risk of accident

The risk of an accident increases if you:

drive too fast, particularly when
cornering
앫
drive on a wet and slippery road surface
앫
drive too close to the vehicle in front
The Airbrake cannot reduce this risk.
For this reason, always adapt your driving
style to suit the current road and weather
conditions and maintain a sufficient dis-
tance from other road users and objects on
the road.

In winter conditions, the maximum effect of
the Airbrake can only be achieved if you use win-
ter tyres (M+S tyres), with snow chains if
necessary.
