To move forwards: press release button

and pull the head restraint forwards until it
engages in the desired position.

To move backwards: press release button

and slide the head restraint backwards into the

To remove: press release button

the head restraint up and out.

To fit: press the head restraint with detent into
the holes on the left-hand side when viewed in
the direction of travel until it engages.

Adjusting the head restraint electrically
&
WARNING Risk of accident due to adjust-
ing the vehicle settings while the vehicle is
in motion
You could lose control of the vehicle in the fol-
lowing situations in particular:

if you adjust the driver's seat, the head
restraint, the steering wheel or the mirror
while the vehicle is in motion
R
if you fasten your seat belt while the vehi-
cle is in motion

Before starting the vehicle: in particular,
adjust the driver's seat, head restraint,
steering wheel and mirror, and fasten
your seat belt.

NOTE Damage to the electrical head
restraint when adjusted manually
If the height of the electrically adjustable head
restraint is adjusted manually, this can damage
the mechanism of the head restraint.

Adjust the height of the electrically
adjustable head restraints using the but-
tons in the door trim.
Requirements:
R
The vehicle is switched on or the door is open.
#
To adjust the height: push button

up or
down in the direction of the arrow.
Moving forward or back
#
Press and hold release knob

#
Push the head restraint forwards or backwards
into the desired position.

If the vehicle is not switched on, you can
adjust the head restraint height within 30 sec-
onds of unlocking the vehicle.
