The migration of system software libraries and the database during the soft-
ware upgrade process is shown in Figure 11-1.
Upgrading Using the File Transfer Protocol Method
Upgrading using the FTP method includes two major tasks:
1. Setting up a Windows FTP server (see the following section, “Setting Up a
Windows FTP Server”)
2. Downloading the software upgrade files to the PSAX system using FTP,
and upgrading the PSAX system on the CPU2 module (see the section,
“Upgrading the PSAX System Software”)
