Chapter 5 Site-Specific Configuration
Configuring the System for Your Site
Configuring SNMP Trap Destinations
You can send SNMP trap messages to a remote network management system
(NMS) to alert it of a problem with the PSAX system. To define the IP
addresses for NMS destinations, perform the steps in the following proce-
dure.

ber must be a valid number based on the agree-
ment between the connection gateway and the
call controller.

the TCP server sends a query message to deter-
mine whether the connection is still active.
