Specifies whether this logical/physical channel
belongs to Protection Group Number 1 or 2. Pro-
tection Group 1 always uses the user-assigned
timeslot value 16. Protection Group 2 uses the
timeslot value 15 and 31 (2 timeslots are neces-
sary to provide sufficient bandwidth on V5.1 sys-
tems with ISDN and most V5.2 systems).

Pg-1 supports one active C-Channel and one
Standby C-Channel where N1 = 1, K1 = 1.
Pg-2
Pg-2 supports 1 <= N2<(3*L-2-K2) Active
C-Channels where L = number of E1 links, and
1 <= K2 <= 3 Standby C-Channels.
