Activating the median filter for Z-coordinates
When using parameter ID 0x07DB, sensor control command 0x0059 can be used to activate
a median filter for the Z-coordinates. By activating the median filter, the Z-coordinates of
the measurement values are smoothed out, while occurring edges are retained. If the median
filter is activated, small interferences and structures can be suppressed.
When using sensor control command 0x0059 with parameter ID 0x07DB, three words of
user data are transmitted to the sensor:
If
SF=0
, the setting for the median filter is only temporary.
If
SF=1
, the setting for the median filter is retained even after a restart of the LES.
If
MF=0
, the median filter is deactivated.
If
MF=1
, the median filter is activated.
