Calibration and explanation steering system
Step 6) set the LIMIT (very important after changing tyres or track width)
The LIMIT will restrict the maximum steering angle for safety reasons. (For example
wheels touching the tank or tipping over at narrow track width)
Go to screen 32:
Select the value and steer in manual mode to the maximum allowed angle: CHECK both sides of the
machine!
The most critical situation must be stored by pressing OK
Attention:
When the LIMIT is 0 the steering system will not react. So always
set the LIMIT.
•
Δ D
= steering delay: The wheels will start turning after this distance is passed
- Drawbar steering
Δ D= always 0!!
- Wheel steering
Δ D
= depending on length and driving speed
- Works only when speed sensor is connected to the SHC PCB
(sections Hydraulics box on middle frame)
- From FMC V1.12 also when speed signal is put directly into the controlbox
