(2) Leaf Spring

Leaf Spring

1. Place the stand under the frame.
2. Remove the rear wheel (1) and support the rear axle bracket

with jack.

3. Loosen the lock nut (3) and rear axle bracket flange nut (4).
4. Remove the leaf spring rod bolt and nut (2).
5. Remove the spring reamer bolt and nut (7).
6. Remove the leaf spring rod and nut (2), and then remove the

leaf spring (6).

(When reassembling)

• Tighten the leaf spring rod bolt and nut (2), spring reamer bolt

and nut with specified torque after setting up the wheel and
unloading the machine on ground.

Spring Rubber Bush

1. Remove the spring rubber bushes (1).

(When reassembling)

• When installing the bush in the mounts of the leaf spring,

lubricate them with a soapy water.

CAUTION

• Do not use engine oil or petroleum distillates to lubricate

the bushes because they will deteriorate the rubber.
