Coolant Temperature Sensor
1) Connector Terminal Voltage

1. Disconnect the

connector (2) from the coolant temperature

sensor after turning the main switch

OFF

2. Turn the main switch

and measure the voltage with a

voltmeter across the connector terminal and the chassis.

3. If the voltage differs from the battery voltage, the wiring harness

or meter panel is faulty.

2) Sensor Continuity

1. Measure the resistances with an ohmmeter across the sensor

terminal and the chassis.

2. If the reference value is not indicated, the sensor is faulty.
