FRONT AXLE

RTV1140CPX, WSM

Front Suspension (Strut Suspension)

1. Place the stand under the frame.
2. Remove the joint guard (4).
3. Loosen the lower arm mounting bolt and nut (3).
4. Remove the cotter pin and remove the tie-rod end slotted nut.

5. Remove the ball joint (5) mounting bolt and nuts.
6. Remove the front axle slotted nut (10).
7. Remove the cotter pin and remove the knuckle case mounting

bolt and nut (9).

8. Separate the strut (1) and knuckle case assembly (4) from lower

arm (8).

9. Remove the strut mounting nut (12) and then remove the strut

(1).
